When you use Deposit Deadline, we collect the information you provide — your name, email, property details, and any documents you upload. We also collect basic technical data (IP address) for security. We use privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) that does not track individual users.

How We Use It

Your information powers the tools — deadline calculations, demand letters, reminders, and AI-assisted features like lease analysis and chat. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We don't share your information with anyone except when you explicitly request it (e.g., attorney consultations).

AI Features

Lease analysis, chat, demand letters, and case assessments are powered by Anthropic (Claude). Your inputs are sent to their API for processing. Uploaded leases are processed in real time and not stored after extraction. We recommend redacting sensitive information (SSN, bank accounts) before uploading documents.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. Email privacy@depositdeadline.com or visit our Do Not Sell page. We respond within 45 days.

Data Retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. AI-generated content may be cached up to 30 days for performance. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymous.
